But people are people, so shit still happens.
You may or may not be able to tell in this video, but I got a new horn. My old one was on the way out after an adventure in a massive mud puddle. Also, I’d guess I have maybe one more of these compilations left before I’m off to college and without a car.

I saw a near epic fail as an Xj Cherokee nearly lost control of the rear end turning left into my lane. It took more than a couple corrections to straighten it back out. Don't know if it was accidental or purposeful.

Why college without car?

My parents have said that a car is more trouble than it’s worth during my freshman year, especially since I’m going to be on a fairly small, walkable campus.

Bwahaha, that guy in the Range Rover.

I didn’t really feel the need for a car for getting around campus. I am however looking forward to having a car next year for the expanded food options it will provide.

Another student car at my school.

Reminds me of a friend of mine, who also happens to drive a Range Rover.....
Long story short, I was riding with him as we went around 70 miles per hour in a 25 zone.

A few observations:
1) That is a great radio station you’re listening to.
2) That is probably the most off-road that Range Rover has ever been, so I kind of can’t take offense to that.
3) I love flashing high beams to be courteous to people. I’m pretty sure that I’m actually more courteous just because I enjoy it so much.
ETA: 4) I recently had a very similar parking garage issue with a woman who could not figure out how to reverse her new GLA. She had to pull out of the gate because she lost her ticket, but even though she had more than enough space to TURN HER WHEEL and reverse to the side, she kept reversing back and almost hitting me (like, three times with me having to beep each time). It didn't help that the asshole in an SUV behind me wanted to be a prick, so he refused to back up so I could back up. Eventually a parking attended had to come out and guide her out of the way.

1. Thanks, it’s the shuffle I’ve got going between my Pandora stations.
2. Fair enough. I guess it’s close enough to the intended use.
3. Yup. I’ve got a video I’ll share later of a guy flashing his high beams to warn me of a sneaky speed trap.

That makes so much sense. I kept thinking “why don’t any of my radio stations play Dave Brubeck, Eric Clapton, and the Beatles!?”

One or two of the clips in the white car are Sirius radio’s temporary “Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame Radio”.

@1:25... Nope, you’re not impatient. You waited just about the perfect amount of time to verify that the F-150 driver wasn’t responding to the green light before honking.
@1:37... Not a matter of patience. That intersection should have been clear for that F-150 as soon as the light went green. The Frontier driver entered that intersection during what was probably a red or VERY stale yellow light, and should have stayed back instead.
@throughout-the-rest-of-the-video... I gotta say, these are basic driving skills that a lot of these drivers are failing at. I mean really, really basic fundamental aspects of driving. Lane usage, traffic control devices, etc... Very good examples of why driver training/licensing needs to be stricter.

@1:37 the only reason I said the F-150 was impatient was because he was a full car-length into the intersection before the light turned green. Once again, this is where it would be nice if our city consistently had stop lines.

Ah, good point; I see what you mean now. That spot where the solid line becomes a broken line probably indicates where the stop line (or maybe a cross-walk?) ought to be.

Maybe she forgot steering wheels work in reverse too?

What camera do you use

G1W-H. The mic is adequate but not fantastic, and the wide angle lens makes everything look far away, but other than that it’s a great product. And at fifty-something dollars it’s a great value.
